[01/27/2009] WHGC To Speak at the 12th Annual Washington in the West Conference Sponsored by LAIPLA

Jeffrey CP Wang of WHGC are scheduled to speak at the Washington in the West Conference sponsored by the Los Angeles Intellectual Property Law Association (LAIPLA). The conference will take place on Thursday, January 29, 2009 at the Skirball Cultural Center located at 2701 North Sepulveda Boulevard, Los Angeles, CA 90049.

WHGC will take part in a panel discussing Enforcement of Intellectual Property in China. The panel will highlight the enforcement of intellectual property and the value of patents in China.

The conference will also feature officials from the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO): Commissioner for Trademarks (Lynne Beresford), the Solicitor (Ray Chen), the Acting Commissioner for Patents (Peggy Focarino), and a director of a technology art unit (Andrew Faile).
